Current version · 1.0.0

Installation & requirements

The Exo Python SDK discovers and connects Qnbot Exo Plus devices, reads arms, handsets, and IMUs, and controls left and right haptics.

Requirements

  • Python 3.10 or newer
  • A supported Qnbot Exo device and an available serial port
  • A release package matching the operating system and CPU architecture

qnbot-sdk-exo 1.0.0 requires exactly qnbot-sdk-core 1.4.0; do not mix it with another Core version.

Install

python -m pip install "qnbot-sdk-exo==1.0.0"
python -m pip check

For offline use, download the current platform archive from OTA. It contains matching Core and Exo wheels:

macOS14+ · arm64
Linuxglibc 2.34+ · x86_64
Linux ARM64glibc 2.34+ · aarch64
Windows10+ · x86_64

Extract the archive, then install the matching Core and Exo files together:

python -m pip install ./qnbot_sdk_core-1.4.0-*.whl ./qnbot_sdk_exo-1.0.0-*.whl

Verify the import

python -c "from qnbot_sdk import Sdk; from qnbot_sdk.exo import ExoConfig; print('Qnbot Exo SDK ready')"

On Windows PowerShell, replace python with py when needed.
